Description

The SK70KQ16 is a high-voltage, fast-switching IGBT power module designed for efficient and compact power conversion systems. It combines a 1600V blocking voltage with a 70A current rating, featuring advanced "Quick" IGBT technology that delivers a low collector-emitter saturation voltage (Vce(sat)) for reduced conduction losses and fast turn-off switching for lower switching losses. It is paired with a soft-recovery anti-parallel freewheeling diode to minimize voltage spikes and electromagnetic interference (EMI). This optimized balance of low losses enables higher switching frequencies, contributing to increased power density and smaller system size.
